As we were driving down the road this morning in a crazy storm we saw our friend Adolfo riding his bike to our house. In a downpour. On a crappy dirt road with foot deep pot holes. It takes us 20 min to drive to his house. It must take him 2 hours each way on a bike. He was coming to ask for dog food for all the strays he cares for. We gave him a 50 pound bag and drove him and his bike home. The love he has for his animals always makes me smile.

Ps – we dropped off our little mouse/squirrel/opossum friend to a local rescuer. After we left, she drank milk!!! Apparently she wasn’t loving our puppy formula. Hope she’ll be ok.

There is good in the world. Sometimes you have to look for it, but it’s all around us.
