Puppy Pia (Cabito’s sister) found herself back at the vet last night. She has lost weight and her platelets are dangerously low since her last visit. We’re struggling to manage vet appointments from NJ, communicate and follow up with owners/rescuers in a foreign language, raise enough money to pay our bills while each day being asked to help another dog. It’s so awesome that people are reaching out for help!!! And we are doing our absolute best not to have nervous breakdowns 🤓 Will update when the vet checks in with Pia’s new treatment plan. We’re trying sweet pup~
