Nicholas continues to get stronger each day. He is eating and is in better spirits. Our hearts break seeing him like this, but it’s our sincere hope that with proper nutrition, time, therapy and a patient family he will be able to walk again. We have been second guessing ourselves since the beginning wondering if this is the best course for him… would it be more humane to let him leave this life? Right now we keep coming back to the idea that it’s too early to tell. We feel that he has a chance, and we want to give him an opportunity to have a happy life with a loving family. On Monday he will go to a foster home and we will take him into our rescue as soon as we get back to Mexico. We will continue to work closely with our partner vet to make sure he is getting everything he needs. Love you Nicholas!
