Today a family who lives down the beach from us stopped by with their new puppy. I always give out dewormer and flea tick meds to local families.

I asked them when I could bring their pup to be neutered (as I’ve done with most of their other dogs through the years). They told me they wanted to breed this pup with a neighbor’s dog

After some serious begging and pleading, with help from a native Spanish speaking friend, we got her to agree that she would instead neuter him. I made an appt with our local vet for next week. Fingers crossed that they keep the appt
