Baby Pecas (freckles) is looking for godparents to sponsor her surgery. We were contacted by a family with a huge heart for animals but with very limited resources. Pecas is just 2 months old. Last month her human brother accidentally sat on her while she was in a hammock (ouch). The family took her to the vet but couldn’t afford surgery. Yesterday we arranged to have her seen by our vet. Xrays showed a fractured femur 
and blood work
showed anemia/low platelets. She was sent home with vitamins, pain meds and will be on bed rest until she is healthy enough for surgery. We need to raise $8,000 pesos ($400 usd) for surgery, lab work and hospitalization. As always, we are happy to share receipts – please just ask
