My sweet, caring friend, Ingrid, found this homeless girl and rushed her to the vet today. Based on her condition, after blood work and x-rays, it was decided that she deserved some peace and some dignity. Her body was too broken. Fly free gorgeous girl. I am sorry humans let you down. You are the reason we continue to fight this fight. You mattered.
Carmen update: She is getting settled into her temporary home… went for a walk and had dinner. Now time for bed. It’s been a long day for this girl. Goodnight 😴
Just dropped Carmen off in Playa with her transport to the airport. She’s off to Canada to start a brand new life! She will never suffer alone on the street again. Happy new life my sweet girl ❤️❤️❤️ Thank you Melissa Seifert-Hyslop for taking our baby girl into your rescue xoxoxo.
Yesterday we learned about a dog named Oso (bear)who has a horrific wound on her paw that isn’t healing. The owner can’t afford treatment and was thinking of putting her to sleep. Our rescue partner rushed Oso to the vet where she currently is spending the night. She had x-rays, antibiotic injections and had to be anesthetized in order to deep clean her wound. We have offered to do financially support Oso with anything she needs. This sweet dog is in pain and we will do everything we can to make her life better. Will update soon. Xo.
Look at my perfect little sleeping angel Carmen on our way home from vet. You can barely tell that she puked 5 times and had diarrhea all over my car (and me). Living the dream 🤢👿🤮
Last week Rudy picked up a toy to play. Tonight he made himself at home on the couch ❤️❤️❤️ Seeing him be a regular dog is beautiful beyond any words. Rudy has been through so much and has so many challenges in life, yet he moves forward… One clumsy, awkward step at a time. We are grateful that we get to help this little man along on his journey. He’s so freaking amazing!
