This precious boy wandered up to our friend and rescuer, Ma Guadalupe Ortiz Mendez, looking for help. His teeth were knocked out and part of his lip was hanging off. There is a purpled colored antiseptic widely used here. Judging from the color of his mouth it seems someone tried to help him by applying it to his wounds. He was treated by our vet (who thinks he might have been hit by a car) and is now recovering in a home with our friend’s neighbor.
Please send good vibes to this sweet, old dog. Knowing how street dogs suffer breaks our hearts. But turning our backs would probably kill us. Thank you to all of our friends who make helping them possible. We appreciate you more than you’ll ever know.
