The hardest thing about living in Mexico is seeing dogs living on the street. They are born to homeless moms. Moms struggle to find enough food to produce milk for their babies. The babies make more babies and then die young – from starvation, disease, accidents or intentional violence. My heart breaks every single day here 
But there is hope. There are kind people who dedicate their lives to rescue. There are compassionate vets who provide low cost s/n surgeries. There are many pet owners who want to sterilize their dogs but simply don’t have the money.
