Jaguar attacks on dogs are a real thing here on the coast. There are responsible pet owners whose dogs are in the wrong place at the wrong time, and there are owners who refuse to bring their dogs inside at night no matter how many of their dogs have been killed. Sometimes a dog is lucky enough to fight off an attack but is often left with life threading wounds. We on the coast are quite far from a vet, so our friend, Dra. Nancy Sabat, put together jaguar bite kits. Each kit contains injectable antibiotics, pain meds and supplies to deep clean the wound. The idea is to stabilize the dog while we try to get vet care. The kits are in a central location on the coast. We are happy to support this awesome idea.
