Many independent rescuers in our little part of the world have huge hearts. They take in the suffering dogs and cats that other people refuse to see. Covid has hurt the local economy here, and many rescuers have a hard time making ends meet. We are fortunate to have a good support system and believe in paying it forward. When we can, we help those who help animals. Recently Flaquita’s rescuer told us that she was very sick and asked for help. We sponsored her vet visit and ehrlicia treatment. Little by little, we are making the world better for animals 🐾
