Miss Fatima was just about a year old when we rescued her from the beach in 2017. For over 2 years she was pretty much terrified of everyone and everything. Slowly she learned to trust us and the little world we built for her. These days she is so unbelievably happy. She smiles and plays and loves life. A few weeks ago a biopsy gave us some terrible news. This girl means the world to us, and watching her suffer through “aggressive chemo” for 3 months just seems cruel. Has anyone been down this path? I don’t know what to do.
