Last weekend we sponsored 8 spay/neuter surgeries for them. Their founder, Ema, drives animals almost 2 hours each way for surgery, as there is no vet in her town.
While Ema was on her way to the vet, she picked up a starving dog sleeping on the grass in the center of a highway. The vet diagnosed her with advanced heartworm disease and made a sad but compassionate choice. May she Rest In Peace
