Quintana was rescued from a sewer in January. This was presumably where she slept to stay safe from traffic and people. It’s heartbreaking to imagine how long she survived alone like this. She spent the next 72 days in the hospital being treated for a huge transmissible venereal tumor. The tumor pic makes Gil queasy, so I didn’t post it 😬 After 10 chemos, her tumor stopped shrinking. We will start an alternate treatment soon. She is now living in daycare, in a private area with Blanquita (also with tvt). They both get to feel the sun on their faces and enjoy good food and playtime. When we get her tumor resolved, we can address the heartworm 🤞Quintana was really suffering on the street. Thank you to everyone who supports us. You are the reason we can give her a better life ♥️
