The boy is Armamdo and the puppy is Solito (it means alone – that’s how he was found on the street). Armando’s mom is raising 6 kids by herself. They have 2 rescue dogs as well. They are a family of extremely limited means, and even more so with the pandemic. We recently sponsored a vet visit for Solito and leaned that not only does the family struggle to feed their pets but often they go without food themselves.
