Until last month he was struggling to survive on the street. People walked past him every day. They ignored the ribs showing through his skin. They ignored his sad face desperate for a hand to help. Fortunately a new friend of mine noticed him. She took him in but her stay here wasn’t permanent and she couldn’t keep him. There was no way we were letting him go back to he street.
