This is Tanus. His owner left him with a trusted friend 4 months ago to go look for work. When he arrived home, he was sickened to find his pup like this. Apparently his friend left Tanus chained up and didn’t bother to feed him. He is alive because neighbors occasionally fed him. Our vet was called last night to go treat him. She gave iv antibiotics, fluids, vitamins, heartgard, frontline & medicated shampoo. The man loves his dog, but like so many, he is out of work because of covid. We will support his vet care.
