**update** Mimi has left this world. She had a terribly infected wound on her leg and likely died from sepsis. The most heartbreaking part of this is that she had “owners”. Thank you to the amazing ladies who took her off the street. Mimi you mattered to us, and we will keep fighting the good fight in your honor. Fly high sweet girl 
Her name is Mimi 
Our friend and independent rescuer posted her on Facebook asking for help with her vetting. Somehow Mimi tested negative for heartworm but is positive for ehrlicia. Our vet thinks she is about 10 years old and hopes she can be healthy soon. We will support whatever care this oldgirl needs. As bad as she looks, we are so grateful she is off the street and safe at the vet. Please keep her in your thoughts. Will update soon.
