Canelo is anemic and has low platelets. He has had a bath and xrays and is happy to be eating and drinking. The broken limb can’t support his weight. Due to the length of time he has been left in this condition, surgery is not possible. When he is healthier he will have the limb removed. The only thing that matters is that he is safe right now.
To every person who walked past him on the street day after day, week after week, month after month, I hope that if you’re ever in need, that the universe will show you exactly the same level of compassion you have shown this animal.
