We saw a post on FB about a little homeless guy wandering the streets. Our partner arranged to have the local vet ambulance pick him up and take him to our vet. He is positive for ehrlicia, anaplasmosis and heartworm. His blood platelets are 18 out of a 200-500 range. I can’t imagine he would have lived much longer on the streets 
Right now he is resting comfortably at our vet getting the care he needs.
