Meet the Permanent Residents
Not every dog that comes into our care will find a traditional forever home. Some, because of their age, medical needs, disabilities or past trauma, will spend the rest of their lives at our sanctuary.
While they may never have an adoptive family, they will always have ours.
By sponsoring one of our permanent residents, you help provide the food, medical care, comfort and love they need to live safe, happy, and dignified lives.

Mocho
Mocho is one of the original beach dogs who started it all. Having been through many health scares...

Luca
Luca was rescued from the side of the road.. his skin skin was raw and bleeding...

Eduardo
X-rays of Eduardo‘s jaw showed two fractures. His jaw is deteriorating. The vet thinks it’s a mix of old age coupled with malnutrition.
Removing the tooth is not a possibility without risking his jaw shattering. The only option is to love him extra hard for whatever life he has left.
We are managing his pain and know that he’ll let us know when it’s time.
